  1. I wish that I’d had the will to participate. Had I done so, I would have tried to fashion a signboard such as below; I may have seen one allusion to this reality in the Star-Adv in recent weeks, but I looked for such a sign in vain during my periodic TV scans today of rallies in various cities. —

    End ALL Violence
    IT’S OUR ALL-WAR ALL-THE-TIME CULTURE OF VIOLENCE
    OVERSEAS
    THAT BRINGS THE CULTURE OF GUN & GENERAL VIOLENCE
    BACK HOME

    I found out in today’s Maui News that some 1000 folks paraded on Ka’ahumanu Avenue!!
